We screened 705 3rd and 5th-graders at all 11 Municipal Schools in Chiang Mai and the Wat Suan Dok School.

Children at Dok Ngern Municipal School, Wat Sri Donchai Municipal School & Wat Suan Dok School will undergo eye screenings before Christmas.

This year, our volunteers have screened 337 students, resulting in over 50 prescriptions, with free glasses promptly delivered.

The CMIRC SVSP proudly concludes its 4th year of vision screening and the distribution of prescription glasses in 12 schools in Chiang Mai.

All Thai municipal schools have been closed due to Covid-19 precautions. We are hoping for a June 14 or July 1 reopening of the schools.

The good news is that we are close to fully-funded for Rotary Year 2021-2022. However, we've learned that school openings have been delayed.
