President's Message For May 2025

Dear Fellow Rotarians, I hope this message finds you well and full of enthusiasm as we look back on an inspiring month of service and collaboration.

I am pleased to share some wonderful news that reflects the power of Rotary’s international fellowship. The 2 Global Grants, initiated by Rotary clubs on Jeju Island South Korea, have been lodged for approval. This is a testament to the strength of Rotary's global network and the shared commitment we all have to service. With their generous help, we will be able to continue making a real difference in the lives of those who need it most, by providing clean water and sanitation to up to four Northern Thailand villages

Thirsty work talking with international Rotarians

On a more local note, two us recently had the privilege of visiting Agape Home here in Chiang Mai, where we had the chance to participate in a school holiday program for the children. It was incredibly rewarding to engage with these bright, eager young minds and help create a fun and educational experience for them. In addition, I’m proud to share that our club has provided 50 school uniforms for the children at Agape Home.

These uniforms will not only help them feel confident as they return to school, but they also serve as a symbol of the impact we can have when we come together as Rotarians.

Lastly, I’m excited to report that the BK Kee Extension Project is moving forward at full speed. It’s truly inspiring to see how this important project is progressing, and I want to thank Gary (1) who has contributed time, resources, and energy to ensure its success. This extension will make a lasting impact on the community and provide even more opportunities for growth and development.

As we continue to make strides in these initiatives, I encourage all of you to stay engaged and share the Rotary spirit wherever you go. Together, we can achieve so much, and I look forward to all that we will accomplish in the coming months.
