In July, the UCIS Interact Club continued to demonstrate its commitment to service and community engagement. Most recently, through the support of generous partners, the club organized donations to assist both local families in need and the nonprofit Daughters Rising, an organization dedicated to ending human trafficking and violence against women in Thailand.
A special acknowledgement goes to UCIS Interact Board Member Giant and his family, owners of ห้างทองมังกรหยก เชียงใหม่ (Jade Dragon Gold Chiang Mai), for their consistent and heartfelt generosity. When approached with an urgent request for assistance, the family promptly contributed eight sacks of rice, ensuring that vulnerable families received immediate support.
In addition, the UCIS Interact Club coordinated a collection of clothing and bedding, which was recently delivered to Daughters Rising. This initiative was made possible by the strong collaboration between Unity Concord International School (UCIS), the Chiang Mai International Rotary Club as sponsor, and the many families, founders, administrators, teachers, and staff who continue to encourage and support Interact programs throughout the year.
The UCIS Interact Club is proud to contribute to meaningful causes and to exemplify the values of Rotary through student leadership and service learning.
