The Chiang Mai International Rotary Club (CMIRC) is proud to share exciting updates from our Scholarship Program, which continues to grow thanks to the generosity of our supporters and the power of international collaboration.
We are pleased to report that CMIRC has received 255,000 THB in donations dedicated to supporting our two ongoing scholarship students, Sally and Mee Mee. These funds will ensure that both girls can continue their educational journeys with the confidence that their tuition and basic living expenses are covered.
Building on this momentum, CMIRC will sponsor two new Thai students this year who will be enrolling in the Practical Nursing Program at Payap University. This opportunity not only provides these young women with a path to professional and personal development but also addresses the critical need for skilled healthcare workers in Thailand.
In an inspiring display of global cooperation, three Rotary Clubs, Monterey, California (USA), Jeju Island (South Korea), and Seoul (South Korea), have come together to jointly sponsor a student attending Thammasat University. This joint commitment will support her education for the next four years. It’s a powerful reminder of what can be achieved when Rotary clubs across the world unite for a common cause.
These developments represent a major step forward in our mission to empower youth through education. Thank you to all our donors, partners, and fellow Rotarians who make this work possible. Together, we’re changing lives, one scholarship at a time.
