The Chiang Mai International Rotary Club Winter Clothing Appeal 2023 is underway, and we are actively seeking second-hand clothing and bedding donations for those in need.
Thanks to the generosity of our patrons and collection partners, we have already gathered approximately 3,500 kilograms of items. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Rimping Supermarkets, Makro Superstores, and our four collaborating international schools, each hosting a collection box.
For your convenience, donation drop-off points are available on this map.
With three more weeks to go, we are still actively seeking the following items:
Warm coats and jackets
Pullovers, sweatshirts, and cardigans
Long-sleeve shirts and T-shirts
Long pants, leggings, and jeans
Socks (including those suitable for school) and warm tights
Closed-toe shoes and sneakers; formal school shoes
If you don't have second-hand clothing available, consider visiting a nearby thrift store to purchase any of the listed items, or support our cause with a monetary donation. We will efficiently allocate the funds to purchase items in demand.

All donations will be distributed to vulnerable indigenous and migrant children and families residing in the hills of Northern Thailand. Our collaboration with the Philanthropy Connections Foundation in Chiang Mai has been instrumental in identifying communities and organizations in dire need of clothing donations.
To date, we have distributed around 2,000 kilograms of donations to our partners and will continue to deliver as we collect more. This is especially crucial as temperatures in the mountainous areas are already dropping, with the possibility of reaching close to freezing. This poses a significant challenge for those without adequate clothing.
Our collection boxes will remain open until November 30, 2023.
Thank you for your support.
