Warm Hearts for a Cold Season: Winter Clothing for Koung Jor Shan Refugee Children

Updated: Sep 15

Earlier this year, CMIRC was honored to welcome Rotarian Jay from South Korea. This month, Jay returned to Chiang Mai and delivered much-needed children’s winter clothing donations to the Koung Jor Shan Refugee Camp. These generous contributions brought comfort and joy to the children currently residing in the camp’s boarding house.

As the colder months approach in northern Thailand, the need for additional warm clothing remains urgent. The Koung Jor boarding house is home to 36 children, and each child is in need of proper winter wear. The camp has kindly requested support to ensure that no child goes without warmth this season.

CMIRC is grateful for Rotarian Jay’s dedication and the continued support from our friends and partners.
