Our CMIRC Children's Water Safety & Drowning Prevention Program has successfully been completed at 12 schools in Phrao, where we taught over 300 4th graders during the 2024-2025 school year. The program is nearly finished in Chiang Mai, where we are teaching approximately 350 4th graders across all 11 municipal schools and, with the support of the Rotary Club of Chiang Mai Wattana, at Wat Suan Dok School. By the end of the school year in March, all 12 schools will have received 15 hours of swim instruction.
We’re excited to share photos from the final swim skills testing and the awarding of course completion medals at Wat Suan Dok School.

A significant moment on 13th December 2024 was the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Chiang Mai International Rotary Club.
This MOU ensures that children will continue to have the opportunity to learn swimming for at least two more years, benefiting over 600 students.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all donors and supporters who made this possible, including:
Mr. Owen Hodgson, President of Chiang Mai International Rotary Club
Mr. John K. Schorr, Project Champion of Chiang Mai International Rotary Club
Mr. Bill Lanz
We are incredibly proud and grateful to see this initiative come to life. Thank you for helping us make a lasting impact!
