On February 13th, the Chiang Mai Municipality hosted a certificate ceremony to honor the 4th-graders who successfully completed the CMIRC Children's Water Safety & Drowning Prevention Program (CWSDPP) in both 2023 and 2024.
Over 600 children were awarded certificates for their achievements. Each of the 11 municipal schools sent five student representatives accompanied by their 4th-grade teachers.
CMIRC was represented at the event by Project Champion John Schorr, Treasurer Yao Ratanasopa, Rtn Gary Herman, and a friend of the CMIRC CWSDPP, Bill, in attendance. Additionally, Khun Pomme of Bronco Kids Sports Club, along with all five of our dedicated teachers led by Kru Boy, participated. The Chiang Mai Municipality was represented by Mayor Atsanee Buranupakorn, and the Head School Administrator.
The ceremony was a resounding success, leaving everyone involved feeling proud to be a part of such a valuable and life-saving program.
