Teddy Trekkers' November 2022 Trip

In November, we sent 30 teddies to the Omkoi Hospital, the main medical treatment facility in Omkoi District in the southwest region of Chiang Mai Province. Please take a look at some of the photos we received from the hospital. It is very touching to see how these young children hug their teddy bears for comfort.

In December, we are sending the last Teddy Trekkers consignment for 2022 to Mae Sot, Tak Province.

There has been a change in the format of the teddies' travel bag, following a conversation with Kanchana Thornton, the Director of the Burma Children Medical Fund's B.K. Kee House. We will present teddy bears to children in cotton shoulder bags with the CMIRC logo screened on them. So now, the bags can be reused for other purposes, such as carrying school books and shopping.

How can you help

We are always grateful for donations, be it teddies or financial. The guidance on teddies is that they should be between 10 to 14 inches tall. Ideally, they are not too fluffy as they get dirty easily. Please, contact me to make arrangements.
