At the beginning of February, Past President John Schorr, Honorary Member Phijitra Schorr, Youth Programs Director Raphael Djemal, Membership Chair Myrna Muyana, Rotarian Patrick Desloge, and I met a group of visiting Rotarians from District 5230, namely from the Rotary Club of Clovis and Visalia County Center Rotary (VCCR).
District 5230 provides significant financial support in the newly approved Water & Sanitation Global Grant Project in partnership with the Integrated Tribal Development Foundation (ITDF).
The enthusiastic group of Rotarians headed up to a remote village in the Omkoi area, where ITDF is currently working on providing safe water and toilets. These guys were not afraid of getting their hands dirty! Check out VCCR President Samantha Rummage-Mathias' photos of their memorable trip. Enjoy!
