This month, CMIRC welcomed Christopher Smith as featured speaker for a timely presentation titled “A.I.: Friend or Foe.”
A retired British educator living in Chiang Mai, Chris brings more than four decades of experience in international education, particularly in Hong Kong and Thailand. He has long been interested in educational technology and continues to explore artificial intelligence, text-to-image tools, self-publishing, websites, and digital creativity in retirement.
His talk offered members and guests an engaging perspective on the opportunities and questions surrounding AI in modern life. With both experience and curiosity on his side, Chris is well placed to lead what should be a lively and thought-provoking discussion.
