Hard Work and High Hopes: Nong Pam’s School Year Wrap-Up

Nong Pam has just completed her second year at Warm Heart and is doing very well in her studies. Thanks to her dedication and the support of Leung Eid during their daily after-school sessions, her GPA has impressively risen to 5.68 (on a 4-point scale). She recently finished 8th grade and will begin 9th grade in mid-May.

As it’s currently the hot and smoky season in the Phrao Valley, Nong Pam has returned to her village to help her parents on their small farm. Her family earns most of their income from harvesting specialty tea grown on the steep hillsides surrounding the village.

She’s thrilled with her new glasses and brought a few books home to enjoy during the school break.
