During the recent school holidays, Rotarian Gary Herman and I had the pleasure of visiting the Agape Home in Chiang Mai, an organization dedicated to providing a loving, supportive environment for children in need, many of whom are affected by HIV/AIDS.
Our visit was a heartwarming reminder of the impact our Rotary club can have in the community. The Chiang Mai International Rotary Club (CMIRC) recently provided funding for school uniforms for several of the children at Agape. It was inspiring to see the smiles on the children’s faces as they tried on their new uniforms and prepared for the upcoming school term. The staff at Agape expressed their deep gratitude for the club’s ongoing support and commitment to the well-being and education of the children.
CMIRC remains committed to serving children in need in our community. This visit reaffirmed the value of our partnerships with local organizations and the importance of continued engagement in meaningful, hands-on service.
