CMIRC Recognized at Rotary Public Image Awards

The Chiang Mai International Rotary Club is proud to share that our club was awarded 2nd Place in the Best Rotary Public Image Campaign category at the Rotary Public Image Awards RY2025–2026, announced during the District 3360 Conference in Chiang Rai.

With 69 Rotary clubs across 14 provinces, District 3360 is a highly competitive district. This recognition is therefore especially meaningful for CMIRC and reflects the strength of our club’s public image work.

Our winning entry featured CMIRC’s WASH Project, highlighting Rotary’s work to improve access to sustainable water, sanitation, and hygiene in remote communities in Northern Thailand. The campaign was recognized for its creativity, strategy, and measurable impact in telling Rotary’s story in a meaningful and memorable way.

This award is a wonderful encouragement for our club. It reminds us that strong public image work does more than promote Rotary. It helps amplify the impact of service, inspire support, and show communities what Rotary makes possible.

This also marks the second time in the past four years that CMIRC has received recognition in the Public Image Awards.

Special thanks go to documentary photographer John Hulme, President Owen Hodgson, and Rotarian Gary Herman for providing powerful photos, and to Public Image Chair PP Viki Thomason for developing the design.
