CMIRC Participates in District 3360 Club Leadership & Learning Seminar 2025

The Chiang Mai International Rotary Club (CMIRC) proudly took part in the District 3360 Club Leadership & Learning Seminar 2025, held at the Khum Kham International Convention Centre in Chiang Mai on May 24–25. The two-day event offered an inspiring opportunity for growth, connection, and a renewed commitment to Rotary’s mission of service.


Representing CMIRC were President Owen Hodgson, Past President and Youth Exchange Director John Schorr, Past President and Public Image Chair Viki Thomason, Youth Programs Director Myrna Muyana, Membership Chair Andrew Boud, Scholarship Chair David Lucero, Treasurer Yao, and Rotarian Gary Herman.





Throughout the seminar, CMIRC members engaged in dynamic breakout sessions on topics such as the Rotary Foundation and Service Projects, Membership, and Public Image. These sessions were led by distinguished Rotary leaders who shared valuable insights and best practices to strengthen club operations and community impact.

Saturday evening featured the District Governor Installation Ceremony, where attendees heard inspiring remarks from newly installed District Governor Apisak Jompong and Past District Governor Dr. Supawat Poowakul. The evening concluded with lively celebration, fellowship, and entertainment, reinforcing the spirit of Rotary camaraderie.




Sunday’s plenary sessions covered a broad range of important Rotary priorities for the 2025–26 year. Topics included Youth Exchange, Public Image, Road Safety Initiatives, District Projects, Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI), Rotary digital tools, and Rotaract engagement. These sessions underscored Rotary’s evolving strategies and the importance of collaboration across generations and cultures.


CMIRC remains dedicated to continuous learning, developing leadership, and upholding the Rotary motto of “Service Above Self.”
