On July 26, 2025, members of CMIRC joined Rotary leaders and fellow Rotarians from District 3360 for an important training and planning session: “GMS, My Rotary, Set Goals and Brand Center Year 2025–2026.” The event was held in Lamphun Province, at the Rapeeleart Wittaya School. CMIRC was represented by President Owen Hodgson, Past President & Public Image Chair Viki Thomason, President-Elects Usar Suragarn and Glenn Pfaff, and Membership Chair Andy Boud.
The event featured a distinguished lineup of Rotary leaders, including:
PDG Rattanasak Chetsawat (RC Chiang Mai)
PP Nattaya Wongsrisawat (RC Chiang Mai Thin Thai Ngam)
PP Sunee Kanlaya (RC Doi Saket)
PP Wannee Bunraksa (RC San Kamphaeng, Chiang Mai)
PP Annida Pakinthinukul (RC Chiang Mai Thin Thai Ngam)
PP Anantakorn Kantharat (RC Chiang Rai)
The day began with registration and opening remarks, followed by a series of practical workshops and discussions designed to strengthen clubs’ capacity to plan, brand, and achieve Rotary goals for the new year. Key sessions included:
Grant Management Seminar (GMS): Guidance on effective use of Rotary Foundation grants.
My Rotary Training: Hands-on learning for navigating Rotary’s online platform.
Set Goals Workshop: Developing realistic and impactful club goals.
Brand Center Training: Strategies to ensure clubs present a consistent and strong Rotary image.
The training concluded with Q&A sessions and practical exercises, giving members the chance to exchange experiences and ideas with fellow Rotarians across the district.
Participation in events like this ensures that CMIRC is fully equipped to align with Rotary International’s standards, make the most of available resources, and keep our club’s projects impactful and sustainable.
