About the Event
Our main speaker for the evening will be Dr. Taryi Wint. Her topic is "Current Situation in Myanmar: Perspective from a Health Care Personnel". The meeting is also accessible on ZOOM, please contact secretary@cmirotary.org for login details.
Official bio:
Dr. Taryi Wint is formerly the Consultant Radiologist with the Department of Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology at Yangon General Hospital and Yangon Specialty Hospital, Myanmar. Her subspecialty interests are in body imaging, breast imaging and Interventional Radiology. After the Military Coup in Myanmar, she resigned from her government service and remotely give teleradiology reporting for private hospitals in Myanmar and volunteer teleradiology reporting for medical workers from IDP camps in Myanmar. Additionally, she is currently giving lectures as a volunteer lecturer for radiology residents, general radiology basics and emergency radiology lectures for general doctors and undergraduate medical students from Myanmar.
Entry to the in-person meeting requires proof of full Covid-19 vaccination, full facial masking and proper social distancing. Hand sanitizer is provided at the meeting sign-in desk.
